This grit belt is also firm as a standard X-weight backing, less flexible than a J-weight-backed belt, has semi-open coated material that is resin bonded with a special red-colored top coating to help in cooling and to resist loading. Klingspors X-Flex belts are not as firm as a standard X-weight backing and less flexible than a J-weight backed belt making them a good choice for blending welds to propeller blade contours.
