A wire harness, also known as a cable harness or wiring assembly, is a collection of wires, cables, or subassemblies used to transfer signals or electricity. A basic Wire Harness may have three discrete components, although more traditional harnesses have many more wires and other passive (and maybe active).
Wiring is integrated into a single unit, or several units, for "drop-in" installation, which simplifies the construction of these components. The OEM or installer only has to install one integrant because the multiple wires, cables, and subassemblies are bound together in a harness. In addition, a wire harness allows the completed assembly to be secured against the effects of abrasion and vibration, and by constricting the wires into a non-flexing bundle, usage of space is optimized.
Key Features:
reduces labor time and human error by allowing for drop-in installation
enables technicians to install complex wiring assemblies in small or difficult-to-reach areas
Reliable and well-manufactured product.
