7" HOOK & LOOP 5/8-11 (8-09450) its rough side is called the hook, the soft side is called the loop it helps make simple attachments for discs to multi-step projects. It helps choose the thread size that matches the external thread size of your right-angle grinder due to the central hole with internal threads. The T-shaped hooks hold a surface conditioning disc firmly in place and allow for rapid disc connection, removal, and reattachment. The disc can be used and reused thanks to the hook-and-loop capability.
