Barrel pumps are designed to transfer or dispense virtually any chemical from containers such as barrels or drums simply and safely. Drum pumps are another name for barrel pumps. Many different models, tube lengths, and accessories are available to meet the needs of various industries. Some rely on the manual operation to dispense the fluid, such as handles, levers, or plungers. A motor section, an immersion tube, and a pump section make up a barrel pump. The motor is located on top of the immersion tube on the container's exterior. The immersion tube, which is as long as the container is deep, fits through and is frequently sealed to an opening on the top of the container.
