Description

Adjusting screws, also known as lock screws, stop screws, and pre-adjusting screws, are more than just adjusting screws. There are three purposes for this screw. The first is to provide a secure stop where the cutting tool can be placed during tool changes. This product saves the operator time by eliminating the need to pull out the ruler, set the template, and reassemble the cutter into the holder. The second purpose of the set screw is to prevent the tool holder from pushing the blade up to the holder when the cutting load is high enough to allow the tool to slide into the holder. The third is the sealing of the coolant passage tool.
