The Danforth anchor is the industry's most efficient anchor, with exceptional holding power for its weight. Our design incorporates two large triangular flukes which attach to the stock and can be placed at a 32-degree angle toward the seabed for maximum holding capabilities in all sea bottoms like hard sand.
Tie Down carefully crafts each Danforth anchor in the United States in our ongoing effort to manufacture at the highest quality possible. We employ high tensile 4130 steel, and the heat treatment applied to Hi-Tensile models significantly enhances the holding ability for the strong force. Each anchor is hot dip galvanised for long-term durability.
