Trim and tilt outboard motors positions on the transom of your boat located at the back or end of the hull. These modify the angle of the engine playing a significant role in giving a smooth ride onshore.
Tilt and trim modify the angle of the engine. Trimming is required at 20 degrees to get the outboard out of the water. Meanwhile, tilting works with short-distance maneuvers while the watercraft is underway, moving through the water.
