Description

Teleflex Marine steering cables meet ABYC safety rules and ISO/IMCI/NMMA certification requirements. It has a finely controlled core to conduit fit to offer precise steering. The outside jacket is comprised of abrasion-resistant HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) with excellent water resistance. All of the cables' output ends are composed of stainless steel. This cable will not replace the SeaStar Solutions/Original Teleflex 'The Rack' (Rack and Pinion) Steering Cable from 1984 to 1996. SSC124xx is the Direct Replacement Cable for these systems; however, for Inboards and Sterndrives, replacing the Helm, Cable, and Bezel System with SeaStar Solutions Kit SS141xx is recommended.
