It significantly affects how long engines last, especially in environments with high seawater corrosion. The Volvo Penta Easy Drain system incorporates an anti-siphon vent that allows the engine to drain while submerged. The anti-siphon vent is activated automatically by a single knob without the need to disconnect any water hoses.
