Description

Volvo Penta introduces catalytic converter boat engines. Volvo Penta's new gasoline engines with catalytic converters emit relatively little pollution. An exhaust emission control device that catalyzes a redox reaction in the exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine to change harmful gases and pollutants into less dangerous pollutants. Catalytic converters are often utilized with gasoline or diesel-fueled internal combustion engines. The components of the catalytic converter are incorporated into the aluminum exhaust system.

Key Features:

Advanced electronic control - Combustion may be carefully managed for maximum efficiency with electronic multiport fuel injection and two oxygen sensors, one before and one after the catalytic converter.
Temperature control - In the exhaust system, Volvo Penta uses twin walls. The cooling water circulates between the walls, cooling the exhaust system on the outside while allowing the catalytic converter to operate at the needed high temperature. Sensors also monitor the temperature of the engine and modify the cooling system as needed.
Low weight and minimum risk of corrosion - To keep the whole weight low and maximize corrosion protection, innovative materials were chosen. Inside and exterior, titanium ceramic is applied to the aluminum exhaust system. Volvo Penta was among the first to adopt this highly successful corrosion protection technology in marine applications.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.)

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
