The boat's whole electrical system is turned active by a reliable source: battery. The battery may purposefully or inadvertently push a significant quantity of electrical current (amps). It makes it possible for the electric source to perform crucial functions like starting your engine and pumping a sizable volume of water out of your bilge.
Protection against current overload or short circuits, it is an electromechanical device. The high flow of power is interrupted when a flow fault is detected. When the surge of current trips, it monitors current flow automatically and opens the circuit if it exceeds the wires' carrying capability.
