COUPLER ASSEMBLY (REC76850A2) A coupling is a mechanical component that links two shafts to precisely transmit power from the drive side to the driven side while correcting for mounting mistakes or shaft misalignments. It is custom-made from a special grade of material that isolates the engine and outdrives vibration. All older Chevy engines with two-piece rear main seals use it. It is interchangeable with the following GLM11500, 18-2171 Mercruiser OEM parts: 76850A2, 32492A3, 32492A5, 38965A1, 38965A2, 11500, 76850, 32492, and 90741.
