A cylinder head gasket prevents fluid engine leaks and pressure losses by the seal between the engine block and the cylinder head. This gasket is designed to block any fluids from leaking and mixing during the internal combustion process. It plays a critical part in closing the engine's combustion chamber so that the vehicle can produce the proper compression to retain engine power. It also prevents coolant or oil from escaping elsewhere, which might cause the engine to overheat and catch fire.
