A distributor cap is a detachable device that is used in spark ignition systems to protect both the distributor and the rotor. In addition to preserving these components and keeping them from contamination, distributor caps are also responsible for assisting in sending electrical power from an ignition coil to a set of spark plugs. Without a high-quality distributor cap, no tune-up is complete. To prevent the production of aluminum oxide, Sea Star Solutions uses materials with brass inserts that maintain good dielectric strength at high temperatures. The excellent roundness of the caps' molding ensures a superior fit.
