This emergency rope cutter is made of heavy-grade stainless steel and is designed for use in harsh industrial circumstances. The closed anvil design keeps the rope captive and ready to cut at all times. The cutting capability is Softline or fiber rope (including Dyneema and Spectra up to 38mm (1.5") diameter) with a DLC-coated stainless steel blade for optimum offshore life, with a cut time of one second and a supply of air at 9 liters per minute.
