Description

A fuel filter in the gasoline line removes dirt and rust particles from the fuel. It is a form of cartridges containing filter paper.

The gasoline filter ensures that fuel flows properly to the engine. Instead of a thin spray of fuel that entirely burns, it begins to generate a stream that does not fully ignite. Changing the fuel filter keeps the injectors clean for an extended period, resulting in higher power and better gas mileage. Fuel filters need a change regularly. An unreplaced filter can get clogged with pollutants and impede fuel flow, resulting in a significant loss in engine efficiency.
