A fuel line is a hose or pipe that transports fuel from one area of a car to another. Replace a fuel connection that is leaking fuel or add a second fuel tank. You may spend more time on the water while camping and make fewer trips to the gas station if you have a second gasoline tank. According to the US Environmental Protection Agency, a fuel line is "all hoses or tubing designed to transmit liquid fuel or fuel vapor."
