All engines require fuel to run, and they must precisely calculate proportions. Anything that resists fuel flow can result in problems starting or running the vessel. A FUEL FILTER (REC15440-99E01) is a component of an engine system because it protects it from dangerous particles. The gasoline filter captures dirt and rust particles in the fuel, reducing engine damage. If debris enters the boat's engine, it causes unnecessary wear and tears on the engine components. It also can cause devastation to the overall system. The FUEL FILTER (REC15440-99E01) ensures that fuel is delivered to the engine smoothly and efficiently. Rather than producing a fine spray of fuel that entirely burns, they begin to produce a stream that does not completely ignite. The fuel filter is somewhere between the gasoline tank and the engine in the fuel line.
