A fuel pump is a component in watercraft that distributes fluids from the fuel tank to the internal combustion engine's carburetor or fuel injector. Recmar gasoline pumps include a regulator that aids in pressure maintenance in an EFI system. The fuel pressure regulator permits more gasoline delivered to the engine if the system requires higher fuel pressure. Fuel regulator is significant since it is how the fuel reaches the injectors.
