It is an annealed steel rod, nitride coated for corrosion resistance and to withstand the harsh marine environment. The Gas Filled Support - Sierra Marine Engine Parts (GS62790) features a bronze bushing, multi-lobe internal seal, and polymer rod ends. It can extend up to 20 inches and can be compressed into 12 inches. It has the exact fit of the OEM replacement. It is also interchangeable with 49-62790, GS62790, GS6279, 80828213440, 808282134402, 11-GS62790, and 20-01908.
