Boat engine gaskets prevent internal and external leaks of oil, water, and fuel. Keep beverages in their proper places. A marine water pump gasket seals the gap between the engine and the water pump on your boat, preventing coolant loss. A marine engine head gasket seals the gap between the engine and the cylinder head, preventing coolant and oil from mixing. An exhaust manifold and riser also transport hot exhaust gases away from the engine and away from the cooling water. Base gaskets seal the top end of the engine and the engine casings. Stop those pesky engine oil leaks before they destroy the engine you spent so much time restoring. Boat engine gaskets, we learn, are required for proper boat sealing.
