The exhaust manifold gasket should be at the top of your priority list because it is one of the most susceptible to issues. An exhaust manifold gasket is a mechanical seal often constructed from embossed steel with multiple layers. However, it is well-produced using ceramic composites, high-temperature fiber, graphite, and mixtures of those materials. It is an essential part of the engine and acts as an elastomeric sealant at the point where two surfaces, in this instance, the cylinder head and the manifold unit, meet. There may only be a single exhaust manifold gasket required in many automotive engine systems. However, some engines, like a V6 or V8, will need two.

Returns Policy
