This Reed plate gasket prevents the mixture from moving back to the carburetor, while the reed valve improves the reloading of the combustion chamber with the fresh air-fuel mixtures. These improve the power output of modern two-stroke engines. When a fuel vapor comes out from the carburetor after the motor is turned off, it's a symptom of reed plate damage. Reliable and guaranteed quality parts are the best used when rebuilding or replacing the reed valves.
