The gasket's job is to act as a barrier between the engine and any undesirable liquids or gases. It functions as a seal between two different engine parts by filling the gap between two pieces that meet. When the surfaces are weakened or under pressure, the gasket can help maintain a strong seal. The established internal combustion engine manufacturer Volvo Penta offers a highly recommended Gasket.
