The hollow screw of 18-8 stainless steel is mildly magnetic and has good chemical resistance. From the back of the head, measure the length. These hold pins, lock other screws, adjust spring tension and are also referred to as jam set screws. You can look inside locked parts for the hollow design. Set screws, springs, and flow controls can be securely fastened into tapped holes using hex socket jam screws. The washers contribute to a vibration-resistant joint.
