The HOURMETER (F25010) is a marine instrument used to measure and record the passage of time in hours and tenths of hours. The majority of hour meters function to record the amount of time that equipment has been running to ensure that expensive machines or vessels are properly maintained. The numbers on the meter indicate how long the engine has been running. From left to right, read the hour meter.
The first digit of the HOURMETER (F25010) represents thousands, the second represents hundreds, the third represents tens, the fourth represents a single hour digit, and the fifth represents tenths of an hour. The maintenance and power of the boat determine its ability to run for longer periods. To avoid critical damage to your engine and parts, you must check the hours the vessel has been in use.
