Ignition coils are essential parts of your boat's ignition system. They provide the current required by your spark plugs to ignite the air-fuel mixture in your engine, which is necessary for the combustion or ignition process to begin. Outboard motors are supposed to last for years of trouble-free use, and nothing ruins a weekend vacation like a motor that won't start.
