The intake gasket occupies the middle of the air intake manifold, the cylinder heads, and the engine block. It performs an essential function in today's modern engines. A piece of curved material that fits over the intake manifold directly. It would be a big problem if it fails to seal the two components over time gasket is worn out or broken, then coolant fluid will seep through the seal and leak out. The leak could be external (into the engine bay) or internal (the intake manifold, then the combustion chamber). You may know when this is happening because the smell of coolant will be in the cabin with a very distinct smell. If it gets bad, most likely you might even see steam and puddles of coolant under the motor. The vehicle could overheat leads to blowing white smoke if the coolant ignites in the combustion chamber. INTAKE GASKET (REC6E9-14198-A0) is created for the Yamaha intake gasket to survive the high temperatures of the intake manifold.
