JET BOAT HELM (SH-5087P) is in charge of converting the steering wheel's rotating motion into a push-pull action on the cable. This cable controls the rudder's movement to the left or right, allowing the skipper to steer the boat in the desired direction. The rudder is moved by gears in most rotary helms. JET BOAT HELM (SH-5087P) core role of the station is to maintain a high level of vessel control and situational awareness.
