GLM 33511 and Johnson/Evinrude 324449 are interchangeable with Sierra 18-0108-9 Impeller Housing Gasket. Two gaskets are involved in the box. Sierra products meet or exceed the original equipment manufacturer's requirements. An impeller housing for a suction device that is quieter and more efficient. A shaft and housing make up the impeller assembly. A volute, a central axis, and an inlet port placed along the central axis make up the housing. A second axis is positioned off from the center axis and has an outlet port. A lower gearcase gasket, like a spring, stores energy and seals two mating surfaces that aren't aligned. Fills the space between two pieces, often to prevent leakage while squeezed.
