MERC ALPHA ONE SHIFT CABLE (REC865436A02)
The Mercury Alpha One Shift Cable by Recmar (REC865436A02) is for MerCruiser, stern drives in the MC-I, MR, Alpha One, and Alpha One Gen II series, use lower shift cable 865436A02 (1978 and newer). These cables are made to last long and function at their best in all weather conditions down to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. They use layered technology architecture to build a control wire that operates smoothly and is robust. Replace new cables in reverse order after removing any broken or old cables. It is simple to do using ordinary tools. The shift cable can only be replaced, not repaired.
