In conventional ignition systems, the distributor becomes a component used in determining timing and Firing order. At the firing order in the distributor, the rotor is a conductor component that distributes the output from the coil to the spark plug. The MERC ROTOR 18-5418 is built from marine-grade components that can withstand the demanding marine environment.
