As the oil maintains your engine clean, an oil filter helps eliminate pollutants from the oil in your boat. It prevents contaminants in the oil from being transferred from the combustion chamber and formed by the friction of the engine components as they work together.
The encapsulated oil filter contains several components needed to filter out impurities in the oil. The filter has to circulate clean oil back through the engine components, ensuring that the elements work as smoothly as possible.
