ORIFICE PLUG TOOL - 317002 controls the flow of gasses or fluids through a system referred to as a flow restrictor. These devices' diameters keep the flow rate in the system in which they are installed steady. Depending on the computation involved with the orifice plug, a volumetric or mass flow rate can be calculated. The Venturi nozzle, which postulates a link between fluid pressure and velocity, is the foundation upon which orifice estimates are based. Pressure falls when velocity increases and vice versa.
