The PAD EYE 3/8 BLACK (5/Pack) (3-081310-1) is a device on boats or ships that runs a line through or serves as an attachment point. It's a type of cast that's usually bolted or welded to the deck or hull. This pad eye is made of a steel plate with a rounded edge on one side and constructed with 304 stainless steel to maximize corrosion-resistant and durability. The PAD EYE 3/8 BLACK (5/Pack) (3-081310-1) has a higher profile than standard pad eyes and can accept ropes of varying diameters, making them ideal for use as a deck loop or tie-down for kayaks and roped equipment. It is easy to install with #8 fasteners (not included). It features a D-shackle or sling that fits into the pad eye hole for effortless hoisting.
