Description

When a piston valve is pressured, it contains a piston that blocks the output and a volume of air behind the piston. When the pressure behind the piston is released, the force of the input pressure pushes the piston back. It enables the valve to be opened by a much smaller pilot valve at considerably quicker speeds than a manually controlled valve would allow. For valves used in modern combustion engines.
