Propellers are used to drive a boat through the water or to pump liquids through a pipe or duct. Volvo Penta propeller 23623067 blades are formed in such a way that their rotational motion through the fluid generates a pressure differential between the two surfaces of the blade, which exerts a force on the fluid. When rotated, a propeller has a revolving hub and radiating blades set at a pitch to produce a helical spiral that exerts a linear force on a working fluid, such as water.
