The RELAY is a marine-grade Volvo Penta OEM part of the boatÕs electrical system.
The power relay automatically merges batteries throughout charging, isolates batteries when discharging, and starts engines while protecting sensitive electronics by temporarily disconnecting loads from the engine circuit during ignition cranking.
It functions as a heavy-duty switch for the pump, activated by a lighter-duty switch on the control box.
