The GLM 34750 OMC 313244 is interchangeable with the Sierra 18-0923-9 Rubber Seal. Sierra products meet or exceed the original equipment manufacturer's requirements. Rubber seals stiff parts' surface imperfections by flowing in and filling them. The sealing effect is achieved by the pieces applying compressive forces on the gasket, causing it to bend plastically. Rubbers' elastomeric nature is responsible for their sealing abilities. For gaskets and seals, NBR is the most often utilized elastomeric material. Acids, alkalis, gasoline, hydraulic fluids, and petroleum-based substances are all resistant. It ensures the safety and proper operation by preventing fluid and vapor leakage, keeping debris out of the machinery, and maintaining pressure all the time.
