SENSOR (REC69J-85885-00) is used to keep track of an engine's air intake. The sensor is usually mounted on the butterfly spindle/shaft, allowing it to monitor the throttle position directly. The throttle position sensor is mounted on the throttle body and measures the opening and closing movements of the throttle valve. This information, along with other measurements such as temperature, engine RPM, and mass airflow (MAF), is used by the engine control module to determine the engine's operating parameters.
SENSOR (REC69J-85885-00) holds an important role; without it, the engine control module would have no way of monitoring the crucial details of the proper air-fuel mixture in the engine.
