The serpentine belt is a salient component of the boats engine. The alternator, power steering pump, and air conditioning compressor are all powered by a serpentine belt. In certain circumstances, it also powers your water pump.
A serpentine belt is a long, twisting rubber band that connects to your crank pulley. It then works its way around your engine block, supplying electricity to your boat systems. In most cases, it includes a serpentine belt tensioner that ensures your serpentine belt is in the best fitting. Thus, this will result in efficiently transporting power around your engine blow.
