Stainless Propeller by Recmar (SOL9571-150-21) The hub mechanism on each Rubex boat propeller is interchangeable and made of rubber. It is intended to reduce chatter and vibration, two common issues with competing hub systems. The Rubex hub has no plastic components, as it is made of rubber. For softer shifting and to lessen prop shaft shock when the propeller contacts a submerged object, it can deflect 10%. The propeller won't spin with the Rubex hub inside. The hardware required to mount the propeller on the prop shaft is provided with each Rubex Hub Kit. Unlike competing hubs, the prop nut on a Rubex propeller system does not need to be re-torqued on a regular basis. The Rubex L3 propeller has a large diameter and blade area for large boats, providing excellent high-speed and mid-range performance and superior fuel efficiency. Wide boats can benefit from the Rubex L3 propeller's large diameter and blade area, which gives remarkable high-speed and mid-range performance also outstanding fuel efficiency for offshore vessels. 21" pitch, 15" diameter rotation to the right.
