The Stainless Steel Locknuts are Marine drive unit components. Its function is a nut that resists loosening under resistance to vibrations and torque. It is also called a lock nut, self-locking nut, prevailing torque nut, stiff nut, or elastic stop nut. The distortion of their uppermost threads created the locking action. It should resist loosening caused by shock, vibration, and other forces. It has some portion of the nut that deforms elastically to provide a locking action. The locknut is primarily available in stainless steel and some finishes.
