Description

The stanchion cap is one of the Sea Dog lines of heavy-duty stainless steel marine-grade hardware. A long-lasting stanchion cap using an investment cast 316 stainless steel that withstands long-term exposure to the elements in almost any environment. This stanchion cap is for installing vertical poles and is located around the perimeter of a sailboat. Ideal for installing lifelines around the deck to secure the people in the vessel. A stanchion Eye is used on the top of a 1 x .065 wall stanchion pole to run the lifeline cable through. This highly polished stanchion fitting is welded in place or drilled, tapped, and screwed securely to the top of the tubing. It is necessary to have a 1/8" Allen wrench when installing it.

These Lifeline Fittings are constructed of corrosion resistant investment cast 316 stainless steel. Bases install with FH fasteners (not included). Set screws can be purchased separately (299999-1). Requires 1/8" Allen wrench to install. *Stainless tube wall thickness 0.049ù.
