Faria Professional red 4-inch Tachometer Gas Inboard and I/O 6000 RPM features a highly accurate perimeter-lighted black dial with a white teardrop pointer and modern red and white graphics. Complete with a flat glass scratch-resistant and anti-fog lens.
Tachometers measure the pulses from the ignition system, alternator, tachometer signal generator, or magnetic pickup. It is an essential tool to determine engine function connected to +12vDC, Ground, and one of the signal sources. The machinery has an optimal working speed; too much speed may cause problems and suffer damage.
