Description

Ford and GM V-8 engines with standard cooling (1982 and older) and high-performance versions engines with closed cooling are compatible with Sierra's 18-3646 Thermostat Kit (1996 and older). One 18-2553 thermostat gasket, one each of the following: 18-2834 and 18-2844 thermostat cover gaskets, 18-2917 thermostat housing gasket, and 18-3551 thermostat, are included in the package. GLM 13380, Mallory 9-43151, and Mercruiser Stern Drive 807252Q3, 807252T6 are all interchangeable with it. All Sierra products are equal to or better than the original equipment parts they are meant to replace.

The Sea Star Solutions THERMOSTAT (18-3646) is a part that regulates a system's temperature within a predetermined range while monitoring it.
