An engine may run at lower temperatures than it should due to a broken thermostat, which will reduce performance and efficiency. Simply changing the thermostat could solve the issue. A wide range of Yamaha outboard engines are compatible with EMP thermostats.
The Sea Star Solutions THERMOSTAT (18-3543) is a part that keeps a system's temperature within a predetermined range while monitoring it. Thermostats are used in water heaters, household appliances including ovens and refrigerators, medical and scientific incubators, central heating systems, air conditioners, HVAC systems, and building heating to heat or cool to a set point temperature.
