With the appropriate adapter kit, the Throttle Cable (REC692-26301-03)/shift control cables can be used as direct replacements for many boats with aftermarket controls or most engine manufacturers' controls. The Throttle Cable (REC692-26301-03) can be connected to most engines; standard cables are suitable for most applications with short, simple cable routings. For smooth operation and extended life, standard cables feature steel Lubri-CoreTM wire (8" minimum bend radius).
