The tilt and trim assembly is a mechanism that angularly moves an outboard engine assembly into a desired trimmed position and a tilted position above the surface of the water. It adjusts the angle of the motor, and the running surface helps make it a smoother ride. The tilt and trim have a hydraulic cylinder unit, including a casing with one end pivotally coupled to the transom bracket and a piston rod with one end pivotally coupled to the swivel bracket reciprocal movable in the case.
