The forces generated by your propeller and stern drive as your speed and maneuver your boat across the water are handled by the transom assembly, also known as the gimbal housing. Ensure that it will not fail to endure the abuse! The transom assembly is unquestionably one of the most significant but least talked-about parts. Every MerCruiser sterndrive application is consistent with this. During a repower, the engine and sterndrive receive the majority of attention. The transom, on the other hand, provides cooling water, controls the exhaust, acts as the engine mount, manages the steering system, provides MerCathode corrosion protection, and is a conduit for speed and trim control. Additionally, the transom performs the job of keeping seawater from entering the boat.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
